We’ve been waiting for the good spring weather without frost, but now we’ve started the traditional paving work on the harbour. Our subsoil is not solid, so the asphalt pavement “works” more than seen elsewhere and is thus extra affected with ruts and potholes. For the same reason, we have chosen a strategy of replacing the most vulnerable surfaces of the port, especially at the gates, with concrete fields.
